Double Victory for Team Biesse Carrera Premac: Agostinacchio and Milesi Triumph
An unforgettable Sunday for Team Biesse Carrera Premac, celebrating an outstanding double victory that rewards the team’s hard work and consistency. From Emilia-Romagna to Puglia, the result was the same: the top step of the podium.
On Sunday, September 27, 2026, the Brescia-based Continental team secured two important victories, with Filippo Agostinacchio winning the Piccolo Giro dell’Emilia and Alessandro Milesi triumphing at the Coppa Messapica.
Filippo Agostinacchio Wins the Piccolo Giro dell'Emilia
After finishing second at the Gran Premio Varignana the previous day, Filippo Agostinacchio claimed victory at the Piccolo Giro dell’Emilia in Zola Predosa, near Bologna.
The rider from Valle d’Aosta took a solo victory ahead of Andrea Innocenti and Luca Bagnara. His teammate Giacomo Villa finished just off the podium in fourth place for the second consecutive day, confirming his remarkable consistency.
After the Gran Premio Varignana, Agostinacchio had declared: “We’ll try again tomorrow.” And he delivered.
“I was feeling really strong again today. I was a little worried when a breakaway of thirty riders gained three minutes, but I managed to bridge the gap. I felt good on the final circuits and made the right move on the last climb. I dedicate this victory to our teammate Ilya Slesarenko.”
Sports Director Dario Nicoletti, who guided the team during the race, also expressed his satisfaction:
“Agostinacchio had come close to winning in Slovakia, where he was caught just 300 metres from the finish after spending 190 kilometres in the breakaway. He came close again yesterday at the Gran Premio Varignana. Today, he finally got the victory he deserved during this excellent run of form. He had missed the initial breakaway but never gave up, managing to close a gap of almost three minutes with two other riders. When we had four riders among the 22 leaders, we controlled the situation and prepared his attack. Filippo is a rider who deserves to turn professional, and that remains our goal. Thanks to the entire team for their great work.”
Alessandro Milesi Triumphs at the Coppa Messapica
From Emilia-Romagna to Puglia, Team Biesse Carrera Premac’s celebrations continued with Alessandro Milesi’s victory at the Coppa Messapica, held in Ceglie Messapica, in the province of Brindisi.
Born in 2006, the young rider from Bergamo claimed his first victory in the Under-23 category, delivering an impressive performance.
After joining the breakaway in the early stages of the race, Milesi launched his decisive attack on the final circuit, riding the last 25 kilometres alone before crossing the finish line in first place.
The victory was particularly special for his father, Marco Milesi, who also serves as Sports Director of the team competing in Puglia.
Completing the team’s excellent performance, Michele Bicelli secured fourth place.
“It was a great race. I knew I was in good shape after the Tour de Slovaquie, and I came to Puglia aiming to win. I joined the breakaway right from the start, then attacked on the first lap of the smaller circuit and rode the final 25 kilometres alone to the finish. It’s an incredible feeling, as I hadn’t won in two years. The first part of the season was a little unlucky for the team, and this result gives us all motivation for the final races of 2026.”
Sports Director Marco Milesi highlighted the team’s collective effort:
“The riders were active right from the start in a race made even more challenging by the wind. Their form after two stage races is remarkable, and everyone deserves congratulations.”
Michele Bicelli Secures an International Top Ten in San Daniele del Friuli
Another positive result for Team Biesse Carrera Premac came from San Daniele del Friuli, where Michele Bicelli finished eighth in the 89th edition of the Coppa Città di San Daniele, an international race for Elite and Under-23 riders.
The young Brescia-born rider, born in 2006, confirmed his excellent form following his recent appearance with the Italian national team at the European Championships in Slovenia, where he finished 13th in the Under-23 road race, narrowly missing out on a top-ten finish.
Another strong result that adds to the Brescia-based Continental team’s achievements in the closing stages of the season.
A Strong Finish to the Season
The victories of Filippo Agostinacchio and Alessandro Milesi, together with Michele Bicelli’s eighth-place finish in an international race, highlight Team Biesse Carrera Premac’s strong form.
These results reward the hard work carried out throughout the season and give the Brescia-based Continental team renewed confidence heading into the final races of 2026.
